GCN+ responded to my request and say that a Roku app is in development, but will be a couple of months before ready. They will give notice on social media when it is.

GCN has been saying this since Feb!

So... uhhh.... it's been a year.... Still waiting on that Roku app.
Jokes aside, has anyone heard any updates? Even a simple QOL GUI refresh on the site (and app) is well past due. Still love the content and the amount of racing available to watch.

So here it is May 10, 2022 and there’s still no GCN plus app for Roku. I’m really tired of screen mirroring it from my iPhone to the TV five hours of watching the Giro and my phone is useless for calls or texting

+1 to this! i installed the app directly on my Bravia, but it's clunky at best. I don't even bother to use it for live stream - only replays.
i'm about to the point where it's simply not worth me having to dink around with some other non-roku app for the handful of times i plan to use it.

Please GCN get your app up and running on Roku.

Why did they just do AppleTV. There must be more Roku users than AppleTV users

Annnd ... still waiting.
In the meanwhile some of you might enjoy The Cycling Channel, it has an interesting format and potential IMO.

I signed up in Feb 2021 partly because they said the Roku channel was coming soon. A year on and it's still not here. My subscription has expired and I won't be renewing it. I already have Eurosport so will have to put up with all the ads.

I'm also looking forward to have GCN+ on Roku

said that Roku support was coming soon about 18 months ago. I'm not renewing my GCN subscription because Roku support never materialised.

Is there an ETA for this? There is literally no way to watch Paris-Nice on Roku...because they don't have GCN+.... I can watch some ridiculous cycling network channel but no Paris-Nice coverage...

I second this. It's been too long. I just want to go to the station and not bother with the 'cast to TV' bull.

I sent them another tweet today. Still claim that they are working on it. But it's not mentioned on the website anymore. Old tweet said it would be released before Apple TV app. That has been available for ages.

This is what I got for a reply.
Thanks for coming back to us.
Our sister company got a Roku device quite a few months ago, so we were expecting it to arrive at the beginning of this year. The focus of each company under the Warner Discovery umbrella is different though, and the GCN+ developers had been concentrating their efforts on the new layouts, and Apple TV (which have already been introduced).
We are now employing more developers to push through the various projects that are in the pipeline, so hopefully you will not have to wait too much longer.
In the meantime, if there is anything else that I can assist you with, please let me know.
Kind regards,Robert

Here is the response I received from James Wilson at GCN support.
Thank you for taking the time to write to us here at GCN.
I am sorry about the time it has taken for us to release the new Roku platform.
I know that we have been working on releasing it for some time now. Unfortunately, I still do not have the release date.
I appreciate your patience.i later received a survey from GCN as to my satisfaction of my support request. I would encourage all to open a support ticket and make your desires known.

I would love to see GCN on Roku. This would be the only way I can watch it. I’m a huge cycling fan and completely fed up with peacock and nbc commercial interrupted coverage and insipid commentary by Bob and Christian. Please add GCN to
Roku!

Hi Cgh,
We appreciate your inquiry and applause here in the Roku Community!
Channels on the Roku platform are developed and designed by the channel partners themselves. You can reach out to GCN+ and let them know you'd like to stream their services on the Roku platform.
If you have any further concerns or inquiries, please don't hesitate to let us know.
All the best,
Kash- mattbabsChannel Surfer
GCN+ is closing down next month. I guess my prediction that the Roku app will never appear has turned out to be true.

i initiated yet another update request to GCN... when, oh, when will this app be developed - or are you simply leading us along?
- Roubaixid8Reel Rookie
Folks, we need to be harping at GCN, they need to develop/provide the app. I just sent them another request.
