Add night mode to TVs to reduce blue light

It would be nice to add a feature like iOS and Windows to reduce blue light (turn the colors warmer) and reduce brightness further for late night watching.

We have a TV in the bedroom (I know it is discouraged but who doesn’t these days) and I have the brightness turned all the way down and it is still pretty glaring. And reducing blue light would help on many levels at night

  • YES!  Please add a screen brightness feature

so that I can LISTEN to a ROKU title without

the brightness of the video feed.

There's actually a setting where you can turn off the display while something is playing which is VERY nice!! Discovered it under * and it's called "picture off" brightness settings is also under this! Although I do wish they'd integrate a night/eye comfort mode

  • yes please!!!! I just got a Roku Express and i'm really disappointed it doesn't have a night mode/blue light filter!!

  • I would use Roku more often, probably two or three hours more daily, if there was a feature to reduce blue light (warmer colors) like iOS has. I use my iPad at night instead. Come on Roku!

  • Agreed - this would be quite useful. Or a feature that allows fine-granularity dimming all the way to black. Xbox has a night mode that allows dimming to very low brightness.
