  •  I can see the Viki interface and the trailers run, but when I try to view the drama series I’ve been watching or any series, Viki gives me the following message:

“There has been an unexpected issue. Please check your internet connection and try again”

However, my internet connection is fine. I can view videos on other services, just not Viki

I tried rebooting the Roku and that didn’t solve the problem. I went to network settings on the Roku and checked the connection to the internet. It was fine (as expected). Then I disconnected and reconnected successfully to the internet, but the problem still persists

Viki has been problematic like this since yesterday (June 13) at 7:30 EDT in the US.  There's a message thread over on the Viki forum where several others have had the same experience since yesterday

One other observation: I can successfully view Viki dramas on any of my PCs with no problem, just not with the Roku

I've posted in the Viki forum about this too.  Something has changed with Viki or Roku that has precipitated this problem

Thank you for providing this workaround!  Roku or Viki still needs to fix the problem, so I hope they are looking into still.
