[Solved] No Audio Issue– Peacock TV

Hey everyone,

Status Update – 5/27

Some users recently reported having no sound on their Roku devices while streaming or after streaming Peacock TV.

Good news — we believe this issue is now resolved.

If you're still experiencing audio issues, please try the following steps:

  1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Choose Power (if you don’t see this option, just skip to the next step)
  5. Select System restart

Also, make sure your Peacock TV app is updated to the latest version.

    We’ve heard from some users about sound not working on Peacock TV when using Roku. The good news is—we believe this issue is now fixed.

    If you're still having trouble, try this:

    1. Hit the Home button on your Roku remote
    2. Go to Settings
    3. Select System
    4. Tap on Power (skip if you don’t see this)
    5. Choose System restart

    Also, make sure the Peacock TV app is up to date—that can help too.

  • I’m having the same issue. When watching Peacock, I have no sound issues. When I try to go to YouTube, there is no sound. I have to do a system reset to get sound back. Watching on a TCL model Roku TV 65R615 with the latest software update. Serial number YS00T6378670. Device ID FW288T378670. Tracker ID 70–2 10–176.

  • We started having an issue on both televisions (one Samsung and one Sony) that have a Roku we have had for over a year.  Sound and audio is fine until you stream something on Peacock. Then when you exit Peacock, no other platforms have sound.  You can return to Peacock and it works fine.  If you reset settings in Roku, sound is restored on platforms again. Was working fine Saturday, but problem started Sunday morning.

      Also should mention that there is audio when clicking between platforms, like when you click Youtube TV you hear the initial sound but once IN the app there is no sound.  Only happens though after streaming something on Peacock.

  • Happened again tonight. May 28.

    It says that the software is up to date. 

    Happened going from Peacock to Prime.
