[Solved] Max App Crashing to Home Screen?

    I'm still getting a dark screen after just 10 minutes. I go to a new channel,good for 10 minutes and dark again.

      I should have mentioned the issue is while watching life tv.

  • We are having a new problem with the Max app crashing back to the home screen. The profile screen comes up, we select a profile, it takes us to the main Max screen then after a few seconds we are taken back to the Roku home screen. We have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, didn't help. Anyone else?

      Exact issue happening for me, as well, as of yesterday (June 21, 2025). I disconnected my Roku stick and reconnected. I deleted the Max app and reinstalled. Still kicks me out. All other apps (Netflix, Spotify, Prime, etc.) work fine. The Max app on my LG TV also works perfectly, so it appears to be a specifically Roku/Max issue.

      Hey everyone!

      We are aware of the issue with the Max app crashing to the home screen. To help us investigate, please provide the following information:

      • Roku device model, serial number, and device ID. (This can all be found in Settings > System > About)
      • Tracker ID and OS version, and build (press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
      • Channel build version (highlight the channel and press the star (*) button of your Roku remote)
